5-Jähriges Clubjubiläum

 

The anniversary was planned for months and on January, 27th the party could start: The Whiskyclub was celebrating its 5th anniversary!

Since the date was just some days after Burns Night, HaWe and Astrid had organised a haggis dinner with some sweeties. Astrid prepared a graved salmon marinated in Whisky as a starter.

   

 

 

For the main dish HaWe had sacked his haggis stock brought along from Scottland and Astrid had freed her freezer for pumpkin. But the biggest surprise for all of us were the self-created whisky-chocolates that Astrid and Jens had brought along. They exasperate some of the members because all their training had been destroyed. What did you say, Marc?! Hihihi!

 

 

And at the end there weren’t many rests!

Since we had more birthdays to celebrate than the one of the club, we were also provided with some nice droplets. Over the evening we opened a bottle Glenmorangie Traditional, a 1980 Caperdonich

  and the clubbottle Glenfarclas 1971 Christmas Malt .

 

Later on Achim unpacked his bagpipe and rounded off the evening perfectly.
