Because of a grand number of birthday children in June many of them joined for organising an Old Pulteney tasting with bottles already in place and some reacquired. The five main actors were:
OB, 12 years, 40 % OB, 17 years, 46 % Hart Brothers, 12 years, 55,6 % SMWS 52.17, 18 years, 52,7 % OB, 15 years, Sherry, 59,9 %
Old Pulteney not being well-known to many of us there were the most different reactions - both positive and negative.
But as usual we had a cheerful get-together, as we had two other birthday bottles - one Glen Avon (Erich) and one Caol Ila (Heinz).
We thank Christiane, Astrid, René, Patrick and Dieter S. for the Old Pulteney evening.
Also we congratulate Dieter M. and Sabine on "survived" wedding what bestowed us another bottle of well matured water.
