Barbecue 2005

Summer, Sun, Sunshine ...Time for Barbecue!!!

Also this year the Friends of Malt didn't neglect the opportunity to organise a barbecue for its

members. As last year it took place at Astrid's farm.

Some met already in the early afternoon for a coffee klatsch.

Afterwards our "kids" started to

play frisbee and soccer. The arranged Highland Games (caber toss and horseshoe throwing as

well as a run round the "estate") fell through because of too many cancellation due to injuries.

After everyone being arrived the barbecue was lighted and shortly after the "war" of positioning

the steaks on the "small" grill began. After the "orgy lasting for hours" some started - no, not

you, Dieter - to ask for program but Astrid refused steadfast to sing. She didn't want her guests

to leave.

They prefered to make a bonfire out of the barbecue and people started to make it

comfortable around the fire or continued to play soccer. Of course the whisky played a role all

day! And so the evening finished slowly.

For the people who had stayed overnight the next morning started with a nice open-air

breakfast with champagne. After breakfast the rest tidied up and this was the end of the summer

barbecue 2005.
